French-American Chamber of Commerce Re-Elects Elsa Berry as National President

The French-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States, the country’s leading association for the promotion and development of French-American business relations, announced that Elsa L. Berry was re-elected as National President, effective immediately and for a two-year term until 2015. The election took place on Friday, April 26th in Denver, CO during the organization’s National Board and Chapter Meetings.

A slate of officers to the FACC National Board was also elected and is composed of Elsa Berry as President; David Aferiat (Atlanta); Jean-Fran¬çois Bonneté (Houston); Stephen Dreyfuss (New York); Michael Elkin (New York); Jean-Marc Gaultier (Washington, DC); Juan-Luis Goujon (Chicago); Ed Hayward (Minneapolis); Alan Merkle (Seattle); C. Larry Miller (Ohio); and Jean-Claude Viollier (San Francisco).

A new national Advisory Committee was also created. This Advisory Committee will be chaired by Juan-Luis Goujon, who also serves as President of the FACC - Chicago. Advisory Committee members include Elsa Berry (New York); Eric Corticchiato (Dallas); François Ducroux (Boston); Christophe Maincourt (Miami); and Jean-Claude Viollier (San Francisco). The purpose of the Advisory Committee will be to study strategic matters and to make proposals for review to the National Executive Committee. 

“I am honored to continue as President of the National FACC and to work with my colleagues and fellow FACC Chapter Presidents,” said Elsa Berry. “We will focus on a number of strategic matters as we continue to strengthen the ties between our 20 Chapters that share a mission of promoting and improving French-American business relationships and understanding, while combining regional specificities under a common brand." 

“The FACC is the premier bilateral French-American business association in the U.S.,” said Elsa Berry. 

FACC Chapter Presidents and Executive Directors from around the United States participated in the National Meetings, which included two days of workshops, presentations and high-level speakers and provided a forum for discussion on past results, current best practices and plans going forward.
